Rhino Shield™ Ceramic Coating is a highly specialized, chemically formulated, exterior wall coating system. It is designed to waterproof, insulate and beautify. Rhino Shield™ forms a protective shield that the harshest hurricane force winds and rains cannot penetrate. It provides outstanding corrosion and mildew resistance, qualifies for a Class A fire rating, and eliminates the need for frequent painting and maintenance.
Rhino Shield™ incorporates different size ceramic microspheres as fillers. Conventional paint products utilize inexpensive mineral particles as fillers that are irregular in shape and size. These irregular shaped fillers don't pack nearly as well as a mix of small and large microspheres. (The smaller spheres pack in the spaces between their bigger brethren.) The more densely the coating is packed with microspheres, the less permeable it is to stains and the thicker it is when it dries. The microspheres are highly reflective which adds UV protection to the coating, and tests done by 3M™ Corporation, the manufacturer of the microspheres, show that microspheres drastically reduce thermal conductivity compared to mineral fillers used in conventional paint products. These factors contribute substantial insulating benefits, a high degree of stain resistance and a much longer effective service period. The microspheres also dramatically improve the flow rate of the coating and enhance its ability to fill tiny holes and cracks that conventional paint products can't reach, thus offering even more protection and a more appealing appearance.

Rhino Shield™ Ceramic Coating is a long wearing exterior protective coating for use on most any exterior surface such as wood, aluminum, primed steel, galvanized metal, tin and copper, clay, adobe, masonry, concrete, stucco, plaster and more. It is used for industrial, commercial and residential applications. It is ideal for new construction and repainting projects where frequent repainting is too costly and a longer lasting protective coating is necessary.
